starman gone	Re: Residence Permit - What Difference It Makes? 185 pounds a year. compare that to 4 lots of tourist visas (40 pound) also then add the amount it costs to get a boat to greece or fly to cyprus or where ever. Now 185 pounds doesnt sound so bad a deal. btw I got my home phone just with my passport.
