Problem with evisa application

I am trying to apply for an evisa for my wife, after entering the country of origin [UK] and passport type, the security check comes up with 'I have an ongoing application' and 'Save and continue' then nothing happens! I dont have an ongoing application or what should I save and continue????

They have been doing some upgrades recently including introducing group applications and the site has been down at times . You could always contact them through the link on the front page site. When I asked a question they responded quickly

It might be at your end. Try clearing your browsers cache or using a different browser.

I've just recently done ours, you need to save and continue then it takes you to the next page to fill in your details.

I had a lot of similar problems this morning but when I tried to save and continue I got a message to say that "all fields must be completed". After a number of retries I found out that you must use the date tool for all date entries. I had been entering dates manually and although the right date appears in the box, the system does not recognise that an entry has been made. Use the dating tool and everything was fine.

Re: Problem with evisa application

I applied for eVisas recently (after the system upgrade).
Having put in my details, I clicked on "Add a New Person" to add my wife to the process.
It accepted my details and went through the authorisation and payment process OK but only my Visa printed out - my wife's Visa never went through.
I tried to enter her again, as a separate person, but the system kept reverting to my application.
Eventually I waited an hour for the system to 'timeout' and then successfully applied again for my wife.
In future I will apply as two separate individuals and not as two people on the same application.

I think at least for adults separate applications might be advisable, simply because should anything happen, then you have individual 'paper print-outs' (then again I suppose you could simply print out the print-out twice and have a copy each)

Then again, as some people are reporting immigration staff are not always looking at the paper visa 'no-doubt because they are already logged against the passport number'

Re: Problem with evisa application

Tried again later with my wife's new laptop and no problem. Maybe my steam notebook was the problem (cache and cookies cleared every time)
