Rosemarie, as long as you are returning to the UK evry three months, personally I can't see the point of buying a residency visa, however there are things you cannot buy over here without a residency visa:ie a car.
Somebody will correct me if I am incorrect

Spot on Pennie you cant have your own landline either (I think) but that is no problem unless you want to surf the net.

There is conflicting information about this but I was told by the dealer I had to have a residences permit and a tax number regardless if I was buying a car or scooter, but I have heard of others buying without needing a tax number or residence permit.

thanks for the replys.am i right in thinking three months is the longest you can stay in turkey with a multi entry visa.cheers rosemarie.
