short term RP...financial circumstances!

İ have decided to do yet another short term RP and i wonder how they assess income these days?...i get a pension in the UK from a private company and goes direct into my uk bank account...it gets transfered every 6 months into my wife's pound account...she is Turkish!....i hope citizenship is less hasslesome because that is the next step!,

Re: short term RP...financial circumstances!

Citizenship was a doddle!

Step 1 - Fill out an easy application, pay a one off fee (approx 150 tl), visit Police Station
Step 2 - Wait a while
Step 3 - Go for an interview
Step 4 - Wait a while
Step 5 - Get your ID card

Sorted.

Re: short term RP...financial circumstances!

Greg,

You said years ago you started the process for citizenship, so what went wrong?
Citizenship is much easier, because you can apply as the spouse of a Turkish citizen, and not as an independent - I didn't need to show any financial information as part of my application.

Just in case you're still pursuing the RP route - you could simply renew your current RP and ask for a 'family two year RP'. I'm pretty sure as the spouse of a Turkish person you wouldn't need to worry too much about the financial evidence.

Re: short term RP...financial circumstances!

i started the process ...but then it got haulted because of things in the uk..i paid the 100tl to the police!..i want to take just a 12 month rp if possible because my situation in the uk will change for the 'better' freeing me up!

İt never has been an issue income..our business income is far in excess of the required pension amount!
