If you are setting up a Limited company, you do not need a Turkish partner, there has to be at least two people in the company (they don't need to be Turkish), the only thing you might find easier is the official paperwork signing etc because as a foreigner you will need the services of a translator lot of the time (unless you speak Turkish)

I would advice you to be extremely careful about having anyone signing official documents on your behalf unless you can trust them 110%.

If you can give more details then you might be able to get a more specific answer to your question.

Why dont you maybe offer some constructive advice that others may benefit from, rather than suggesting they contact YOUR law firm. It seems to be your stock reponse... almost equivalent to spam.

You should also declare your interest in this firm, as you are supposed to according to forum rules.

I have a limited company here, it's easy, no need for a Turkish partner, all you need is a good accountant.

How about giveing your advice here for FREE, because if you are contacted via your site you will no doubt charge, (double because they are European)

I would think you would generate more business through your site that you are promoteing on here if you did participate to members questions with sound proffessional advice actually on the forum.

With regards to the orginal question i would advise you work for a company (similar to whatever it is you want to set up as) on a commission basis initially to see how it performs and if indeed the one you set up can compete, If its such a good idea why not set it up on your own, why have a Turkish partner??, and are they asking you to buy into a company which already exists??
Which ever you choose be extremely cautious when it comes to signing contracts and handing over sums of money.
