Turkish Company/Residence Visa
Hi, we are thinking of setting up a company to build on our land in Turkey, are there any other advantages to this ie getting a work permit easier or being allowed to work for the company, do we still need a residence visa if we own a company, any info/advise would be gratefully received
Thanks
Carol and Rob

Re: Turkish Company/Residence Visa
This has been covered before, you can try the forum search facility to see what information is already on the forum.
Having a company does not give you any rights to work permits, does not make it easier either, they are two separate things.
The only thing you can do legally is to run a company but you cant be an employee without getting a work permit, you could employ people to do the actual work, this way you can have an income without breaking the law.
You don't need a resident permit to own a company.

Thanks Mushtaq, I did try the search facility but find it always brings irrelevant subjects up, probably me not using it right, will give it another go.

Re: Turkish Company/Residence Visa
Thanks Mushtaq, that link had the info I was looking for, to help me search next time rather than ask a question that has already been covered, what keyword did you put in the search facility to get the information?
