Spelling mistake on visa

I've managed to spell my name wrong in my visa - dyslexic fingers. One letter wrong!

Anybody any experience of this? What happened?

I would take a chance and if pulled up over it, just buy one at the airport.

Re: Spelling mistake on visa

Earlier this year I made a mistake on my Visa. My passport is Irish and I managed to enter my nationality as being UK. I assumed that I was entering my country of residence. Carelessness I know but it cost me the price of another visa at the airport X 2. Not a good start to a holiday knowing that you had handed over all that money to the greedy barstuards.

This is the trouble these days ,doing it yourself on line ( especially booking flights and printing off tickets ) you have to be so careful.

Not like going in travel agents and letting them make mistakes on the booking details .
