Re: residence permit

I got fined a 198 tl 4years ago, because the start date on my insurance was a day late starting and I found out at the interview. I pay 100 tl for it to be sorted to me it's not worth the hassle. But the service is second to none he went as far as reimbursing me the 198 tl.

Thanks for the info Enoch. We will go and get our policies altered before the interview date.

The website seems to have been made more user friendly compared to 2 years ago. We didn't get an email confirmation of our appointment date, but is printed on the sheet we have to take with us.

Has anyone tried to pay the fees online ?

As far as I know you cannot pay fees online, but that could possibly be enabled for some regions and not for others. We paid in the tax office (even though it was closed for COVID lockdown)

You only get the email/sms notification if an appointment is not given at the time of application.

The in house tax payment section within the online RP application site has never worked correctly since the system was introduced ,but you can still pay online via the interactive tax website.

LINK TO PAY ONLINE DIRECTLY TO THE TAX OFFICE.

Note.. Where it asks for ‘ Başvuru Numarası’ ,when you’ve printed off your RP application papers, look at the bottom of page 5,there you’ll find the Başvuru Numarası.
When payment is completed you’ll get a link to a pdf download with the payment receipt.

I think it is a credit card, my Garanti credit card has the Master Card logo, the ATM card has the VISA logo and can be used as a debit card for purchases.
