Insurance and RP

I already have travel insurance through Revolut - whose policy does not include:
"This policy covers the minimum coverage for the general health insurance for private health insurances to be made on visa and residence permit requests dated 10.05.2016"

Does this mean I need to go and insure myself again?
I imagine I need to insure myself before filling out the application, as I need to include the policy number in the application.

Should the policy begin from the day that my e-visa expires?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Insurance and RP

I think the policy needs to cover the period you are requesting RP for.

Your police needs to start on the day you want your RP to start and end the day after. That's what i am led to believe because mine was made to start the day after and i was find 65 tl before they would ok the RP

Re: Insurance and RP

Travel insurance is not sufficient for residency. It will only provide emergency cover for a fixed period which cannot exceed 180 days / 6 months, maximum for a UK passport holder / citizen.

Yes you need health insurance which needs to be suitable for resident visa application as stated above I got the basic cover from Groupama for 2 years it was 800 lira it depends on your age the price you pay and it must start on the day you want your visa to start and you need it when you apply as you have to input the information to the form

The annual quote I found was about half the price of a 4 month quote (the length of my RP) - is it fine to have my policy still running after the end of my RP?
