Up and coming area?????????????
Well I have the first post here on the sub forum Yahoooooooooooooooooooo.
It has been recent sid on a post that Tuzla is an up and coming area.
Well this maybe the case is 10+ years as the main draw is Bodrum the Golf course well that another story well debated on the forum.
The Big boys are looking to market else where in the Mugla region after marketing campaigns based on the golf course have brought in Business but not what they expected. This will be a lovely golf area when / if the courses are finished and then well tended. Water maybe a future issue. How green will the greens be? The Bunkers well they can all ways look good.
So hello Tuzla formum and may the debated begin........................

Re: Up and coming area?????????????
Tuzla is a great area, so long as you're talking about the existing developments and not the new developments on the hill overlooking the lake.
Ok so transport, unless you have a car can be challenging in the winter, just 3 buses a day to/from Bodrum but it's every hour in the summer. You wouldn't buy there if you wanted to be in the middle of the action, but if it's peace and quiet and beautiful sea views then have a good look at the place.
I'm no fan of the golf development, so if it gets really popular then I'll probably move on to a quieter spot again.
Take care,
Terry.

Re: Up and coming area?????????????
Hi, its us again. There are now 25 brits bought on our development alone. The peace and quiet was what they were after. Across the main highway, we meaning our company has sold another 30 apartments on Tuzla Park lake resort. These will be ready for September 2008 hopefully. All bought again for the peace and quiet. Yes we know about hire cars, the problem with the golf course, but to be honest they are not bothered. The way the Turkish drive and how busy Bodrum is in summer, has put many Brits off and they want the more traditional and less crowded places.
Yes they also know they have bought into an area that might take years to develop and so do we, however we love it and so do all the rest of them, everybody has their own agenda and not high on ours or their lists is the hustle and bustle of busy resorts.
Thank -you Mushtag for this, will see how it pans out.
No we are not talking about Artevs developments etc.

Re: Up and coming area?????????????
Hi Bodrum Eye, no takers I see. The fact that the flight prices and the fall in tourism for Turkey and the huge overkill on new builds, has truly had an impact not just inTuzla, but Bodrum as a whole.
As a company we are still busy, however the areas have now become a lot wider spread for the clients that we are dealing with, and they are all after a bargain. When I say bargain I am talking £35000, to £50,000. What can you get for this in the Bodrum region, hence they are looking at Turkey as a whole.
We not only deal with Turkey but the EU countries as well and due to the euro, well thats another story!
As I said in my reply at first, everyone has their own agenda and tick box for purchasing a home abroad, some want to retire, some to let, some to holiday home and so on. I would never knock any area each to their own.
