Question lakeside gardens

Hi
Has anyone bought on lakeside gardens?
have you been advised that your property is 95% ready?
Has anyone been near that area recently to know if the roads, amenities, beach , pools etc are finished?
We got a letter yesterday to say they want the last instalment on the due date 31/5/08 but that it will be 6- 8 mths before they have tiltle deeds for us and that property is 95% ready. Not sure what that actually means
Can anyone explain if this is the usual for Turkey?
Thanks
sasha

Hi Sasha,

I'm over that way on 26th for 1 week and a friend is buying on Lakeside so I'll be having a good look round for him.

I can let you know but it won't be 'til after June 3rd.

Re: lakeside gardens

Hi Sasha
I have bought on Lakeside Gardens too and have been told my property is 100% ready! I already have another property built by the developers (Artev)at Yalikavak which we took possession of about a year ago now and Lakeside is following the same pattern. It is quite usual for it to take some time for the deeds to be processed and you should not worry here. We have found that Artev have been very good all along and fulfill their promises. We shall be out to Lakeside to pay our final installment and take possesssion of our property on 4th June and if you wish we will look at your property and report if you let us know the name/number.

Re: lakeside gardens

Hi Sasha.
I saw the site 2 weeks ago, and although the apartments were almost ready and looked good, there is no cable car, man made beach, pitch and putt golf or any of the other promised facilities at the neigbouring developments.
Regarding final payment and title deeds, I would ask for the balance to be paid in an escrow account until the deeds come through and also check Artev's bank guarantees. You don;t own the property until you have the deeds. If the developer goes bust, the banks will take your property.

Re: lakeside gardens

Hi Sasha,

I was pleasantly surprised at the progress they've made at Lakeside, properties look pretty close to finished, pool is build, not filled and some fo the concrete roads were in and others being laid. It does look like a good site.

PM me if you want some pictures.

TJD.

Silversky,

Are you renting your apartment at Hillside via Lotus? If so what is your experience of them.

They are suggesting 85% occuancy for Lakeside next year, but their webiste only suggests a few weeks for apartments on Hillside i.e. <10% occupancy.

What does everyone thing of the CAM charges of £65/£85 per month.

I dont like that road either Biggles !
I always make my business partner drive when working up there. Also scrapes underneath my car at a certain dip in the road.
Miss out the road to Sunlight and Royal Villas and Villa Park too.... if you dont like pot holes and dust !

yes lynn, sunlight complex ,what a ridiculous access road,i drove down it looking for 49 s bar and i went so far and gave up ,then found out it went on even further down a unmade track, when will they ever do the road to that complex. i have to say the fiat albea i had would not have made it up that other hill ,i was on the point of conking out when i managed to turn the car and give up and that was a fairly new car .
