Re: Vita park Golf

have just returned from Tuzla and went to see the golf course last Tuesday as we had been told it would open yesterday. it looks not too bad but could not get close enough to know for sure as the watchman asked us to leave. clubhouse looks complete but only seen from the outside,it doesn't look as if it will be too long before it opens but the road up to it is just a dirt track and that needs sorted

Re: Vita park Golf

Hi Neutral, I was out in the area a few weeks back and it didnt look as if it was up and ready to go although i only saw the area from a distance. It did not look lush and green as one would expect form a golf course. I was told that they laid the wrong type of grass seeds (not suitable for golf) therefore relaying the the correct seeds.

There website states 11th July 08, so not long to go.

Jackie and me returned fro Kuyucak ( Tuzla ) last weekend, the state of some of the grass was appalling at Vita Park, there were brown dried out patches being sprayed with water all day long. The club house is there, but the access road is a dust bowl.
Regards, Steve.

Thanks for the replies not a good sign if the wrong grass seed has been used I also see they have moved the opening date on their website from the 27th June to 11th July lets hope they sort out their problems by then.

The opening has been delayed again.
New date 11th July.
Took some photos and zoomed in. Lots of watering going on.
Brown Grass, interesting.

Re: Vita park Golf

We were shown and taken by buggy around the golf course on thursday, and thought it looked really nice, some water features and the grass appears to be doing better.
While we were there a couple of guys were out on the course playing golf.
We were given a list of prices.
18 holes 75 euros
9 holes 40 euros
golf buggy for 9 holes 20 euros
golf buggy for 18 holes 30 euros
Token for to use driving range 3 euros
Golf trolley 5 euros
Rental club 20 euros
we were invited to go into the club house but unfortunately we were running out of time , it would have been nice to see inside.
Road leading to the golf course still not great but hopefully in time this will improve, certainly when we arrived at the course it was a nice suprise.

Re: Vita park Golf

Hi Carol
Hope it is ok, but I have passed the information onto our Owners Group for Flamingo Country Club. People have been waiting for news of the golf club, and it is good news that you thought it looked well!
We are going out to Bodrum in September, so it will probably look different again.
We have a 6 hole course on Flamingo, but there seems to be a problem getting the grass to take, in the heat.

Hi Carol,
Thanks for the great news about the Vita golf course. This was always promoted as a private members and guests only course, so am I right in assuming the prices are for members guests and not pay and play.

Hi Jearden,
Not sure if you have to be a guest of a member, when the prices were quoted there was no mention of having to be accompanied by a member, so hopefully you can just go out and have a game otherwise hubby will be dissapointed
