Smile Lakeside Gardens

Morning all, just booked for my family to go to Lakeside Gardens in July, cant wait as it looks stunning!

Im after a bit of advice. Are all the other resorts (Flamingo etc) within walking distance and how far away (walking wise!) is the nearest Village?

Also what sort of prices for food and drink am i looking at on site?

Many thanks- might bump into a few of you when we're out there!

Cheers!

Re: Lakeside Gardens

All the other sites are probably within 1 mile or so. Nearest village which is very small is about 30 - 40 minutes walk away. The Sunday Market is great. Sorry can't help about prices on site.

Re: Lakeside Gardens

Hi Aberboy

I beleive there is a shuttle bus running regularly from Lakeside to Royal Heights beach club (I have an apartment on Royal Heights), You could get off on the top road by Flamingo CC or Turquoise if you wanted to go to those.
There are also Dolmus buses running along that route through the day every couple of hours or so to Bodrum which pass by FCC and Turquoise also.
Hope this helps

Have a great holiday!

Re: Lakeside Gardens

Hi,
July is not the month to be walking too far, last year it was 40C every day
You should find a few people around on site to guide you. Enjoy

Re: Lakeside Gardens

Thanks for all the replies...look forward to the heat...think ill give the walking a miss though...and just chill with a nice cold beer!

Just one more question- are there cash machines in the resort or travellers cheque changing facilities?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Lakeside Gardens

The bus runs to al the Artev developments and is every half an hour. It goes as far as the beach at Royal Heights which is very nice.
I have heard nothing but good stories about the restaurant and service.
It is not as hot as previous years, which means you can sit in the sun for longer with that cool beer.
At the end of the road is the Sunset cafe, just a few minutes walk from the Turquoise resort.
The local buses run more frequently as it is peak season, so quite easy to get where you want to got.
They have bus stops now, so you can sit in the shade.
Hope you have a great holiday.

DGNTR will become famous soon enough
Re: Lakeside Gardens

I wouldn't bank on it not being hot, it was around 40C 3 weeks ago when we were there!

No ATM's on the sites, nearest one os in Guvercinlik, about 15 mins drive away, easy to get too though, fantastic restaurants there too, so kill 2 birds with one stone.

Sunset and Beach Club take a card but Turquoise don't.
