Tuzla Area Golf Clubs

Hi All,
I have people asking me about golf in the Tuzla area and I don't know all the answers. Vita golf is now open, is this a full 18 holes now? as I believe it was only 9 holes when first opened. There appears to be a new golf course being built on the road from the side of Artev offices upto Sunset and Flamingo etc, What will it be called? when is completion due? where will the entrance \ club house be situated. Are there any other courses in the area planned? Cheers, Ian

Hi Ian

As far as I am aware the golf course from Artev office up towards Sunset etc is part of the on-going Vita Park project. You should be able to google Vita Park golf-Tuzla (there is a web site for it) and see an overall plan of the course etc...

Re: Tuzla Area Golf Clubs

Think that VP is a full 18 holes although the couple of times in June we drove down there didn't look like there was more than a handful of people on it.

Work on the new course was going great guns last year or was it the year before, this year it looked back to square one and then suddenly in July it looked like someone was clearing the ground again.

There is a small pitch and putt at Flamingo CC clubhouse, think it might be 6 holes. Apparently it's a municipal course, along with the 2 tennis courts if my memory serves me correctly. I was only there once.

Re: Tuzla Area Golf Clubs

Morning all!
just played the fully open 18 hole Milas course at Vita Park last Monday. It is in excellent condition and a real challenge with some stunning holes. Monday is the "cheap" day @ Euro59, with green fees being Euro75 the rest of the time. I was literally the only golfer on the course all day and I do think they have their pricing structure wrong; a great course but just too expensive. The club house is impressive too but also pricey.
There will be a second course at VP but I understand that this will be for members only (where they'll come from is anyone's guess) and membership starts around E15,000 with cE3,000pa subscriptions!
I heard that there will be approximately another three courses in the area in the next few years but I don't know where as yet.

Hope that helps.

Played this last week too; 6 hole pitch and putt next to tennis courts, volleyball pitch and basket ball court opposite pool/bar/restaurant at FCC. Generally in atrocious condition although the greens are puttable. Then again it's only TL10 to play so ok for short-game practice.

Cheers
