Utility costs at Turquoise.

A friend of mine is renting at Turquoise long term and has been asked for 300tl for 1 months water and electric which seems very very expensive. Anyone able to confirm what an average weeks bill on Turquoise should be like?
This guy is Turkish so doesn't use the aircon a lot (or so he tells me)
I have a place on a different site and our bill for 13 weeks over the last year worked out at 16tl a week.

Is Turquoise very expensive for utilities?

Re: Utility costs at Turquoise.

We pay 0.35 per unit (we use about 40 units a day) and my bill for this last month will be around the 400tl but I have been running aircon all afternoon and all night so what can I expect. What price to keep cool it is important to me. Mind you we use al lot of electric on computers and all the bits and pieces plus cooking etc.
Water with taxes is 80tl for 3 months but the pots get watered every night and the rest of the garden every 3rd night.

Wow your electric and gas is very cheap. I live in Northern Ireland and gas is £65 per month electric is £80 per month. No water charge though. Swap?

Anyway to get back on topic - I hope someone from Turquoise can help out.

Re: Utility costs at Turquoise.

TJD, our electric bill is about 300TL at the moment but we use the air con all the time and all night too. Water bill is never more than 30TL.

Easiest thng to do would be to get the bill. It will be in whoever's name the utilities are registered to.

If this is just for electric it sounds like you are on Builders rate.
