Tuzla eateries

Any info on a nice place to eat in Tuzla ? Will be there tomorrow to see the flamingoes if they are still there. If not, what about Gulluk ?

Re: Tuzla eateries

Yalides, when coming from Bodrum, after Guvercinlik, you pass Mumcular turn (right), then a roundabout, then another roundabout (Adabuku), and immediately after it you find on your right a place called AGORA. Seems to be different from others - you can try it...
By the way, if you go birdwatching you'd better take the turn to Bargilya, and then turn left to the Golf Club. Stop 100 meters before the Golf Club and try to reach the lake - they pass 60% of their time there. If not, take the Adabuku (ex-Artev) turn and, after the 2nd "mountain pass" you will see them. After that you can follow the same road to FCC, Royal Heights and alike, and then go down to Bargilya and back to the main road.
When you're stuffed you can drive to Gultan Sitesi (not far from Sunset Cafe) and ask for me.
Have a nice trip.
Alex

Re: Tuzla eateries

If you would like to experience a true turkish village you could try ,Bogazici fishing village ,its right beside Lake Tuzla and although not has elegant has Yali,it will have fresh food with cheap efes ,to most a great combination.
Continue up the hill past lakeside ,flamingo ,royal heights and turquoise and you will find the excellent sunset cafe, with breaktaking view and the most amazing sunsets, efes on draught and probably the best pide this side of bodrum town.

We had some business to do with our builders Artev Offices last May, the Secretary suggested we try Lunch at the Sunset cafe, what fantastic views, and the food for a snack, traditional Turkish, as Thingthong posted it was excellent, and great value too, alas the Flamingos weren't there to complete our day out.
