Anyone been to Flamingo in the last couple of weeks?

Hi,

Thanks for the advice on my previous thread (didn't expect it to cause as much debate as it did!)

We're due to fly out to Flamingo in the next few days. We were there last summer and it was really quite quiet. Just wondering what to expect this time in terms of number of guests/how busy it'll be etc.

Thanks in advance!

L. X

I don't remember your previous post, but have a search for the all-inclusive at FCC that VT were selling. Perhaps it's quieter now but it was very busy for a while.

most people seem to socialise off fcc due to poor facilities around clubhouse and non exsistent restaurant,if they brought everthing to same standard as royal heights and turquoise it could be very busy, not right owners have to leave fcc to eat

Re: Anyone been to Flamingo in the last couple of weeks?

We came back on Sunday. Had a brief look into FCC one day a couple of weeks ago, I was not impressed at all with what I saw, the bar/restaurant/pool area was not at all welcoming, it had a low budget Butlins holiday camp feel about it.

I got to know a FCC owner over the last week or so, he and his family spent every day and night on TQ, enough said.

That said, I'm not sure where all of these all inclusive customers were, when we drove down it was like a ghost town, nobody about. There were about 70 or 80 folk around pool/restaurant, mostly turkish, mostly contributing to the Butlins feel about the place, but we didn't see hardly anybody on our drive through the site.
