Re: wildlife around lake and forest

Yes there are rough paths thru the scrub land. Wouldn't call it a forest near to FCC. Animals we've seen in the last few years. Foxes, wild pigs, snakes, chameleons, stoats, otter, pink flamingos, hedgehogs and tortoises.

Re: wildlife around lake and forest

You can see foxes almost any night if you sat on the main road up to the sunset. Theyre all over the place, we had one walked across our site bar area one evening. Pigs also near to public bins, the others just keep your eyes peeled as you wander around. We have friends on FCC who used to watch the pigs and foxes every night from the comfort of their balcony as the animals foraged outside the perimeter fence.
Wear decent boots and strong leggings if you're going thru the rough stuff.

Re: wildlife around lake and forest

Been here a couple of weeks and so far have seen a few foxes, one cheeky brat walking onto our patio as we were sitting there, didn't staylong though. Also saw a couple of pigs late at night on the road back from Hasans to the Ocean View. Plus saw a turtle lying in a sea grass bed just off My Beach.

No snakes yet this year.

Haha, wouldn't need to spray for roaches and ants if there were a few of those around.
