Learning turkish

I need to learn turkish. Does anybody know about classes/school/private teacher in the Tuzla area?

If anybody else wants to learn, we could hire a teacher and initiate meetings once/twice a week.

Re: Learning turkish

Hi Antonymus,
I've been living here in Tuzla for nearly three years and, unfortunately, found no Turkish classes or private teacher (of professional level) in the area.
So had to opt for a teach-yourself-type manual with CDs just to be able to explain myself when shopping-dining-driving etc.
There are Turkish courses in Bodrum and in other locations on the peninsula, but it is 30 km from home - too expensive when you consider petrol prices here...

@sunnyb
thank you so much for the liks

@alexander
Bodrum is too far, indeed. One of our neightbours supposed to be a teacher for German. I guess she'd be able to teach Turkish as well. She's in the hospital at the moment, but should be out soon.
I'm going to talk wirh her and get back to you, if you are interested.

Re: Learning turkish

There are Turkish classes in Gulluck, they started about a month ago. They are held twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays between 2:00 & 4:00 in the Beladya information building on the waterfront.
