Smile Monarch Airlines

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for flights to come over to Bodrum in July and Monarch are way ahead on price. Can anyone tell me if you receive allocated seats during check in at the airport or is it a scrum to get a seat like Jet 2?

Re: Monarch Airlines

We were on a Monarch flight from Luton to Bodrum last year and there were 2 ladies who had paid for an aisle seat and were sitting either side of the aisle.there were lots of empty seats in front but they were extra leg room and one of the ladies asked if she could move into one of these seats yes of course it will cost you 25 pounds said the stewardess. No thanks was the reply I've already paid extra for an aisle seat. She was then told ok twelve pounds fifty then she said no thanks bought a few drinks and settled into her seat.

DGNTR will become famous soon enough
Re: Monarch Airlines

You always get an allocated seat on Jet2 whether choosing it yourself in advance, for which you pay, or it being allocated by the airline prior to departure.

No scrums.

Re: Monarch Airlines

Jet2 flights for 2013 are now out. Really like for the service and the legroom ,only downside is not having a cargo net to keep books/magazines in.
See they fly from Blackpool so could have a two centre holiday.

Re: Monarch Airlines

I am in a quandry whether to book a Monarch flight for my daughter, husband and two children in July. Do I wait or do I book now, Monarch are cheaper than Thomas Crook and fly from their regional airport. I wish I had a crystal ball to see if the flights come down as if I book now I'll be furious but I will be furious if I don't book and they go up!!!!
