Weather Royal Heights October 17th for One Week

Hello All

I am considering travelling to Royal Heights with the family for one week from October 17th 2013 onwards

Royal Heights management inform me all facilities including pools beachetc are open

Has anybody had experience in staying at RH during this period - people have told me the weather is 'generally' very nice and warm enough to use pools and sea?

Any info much appreciated

Thank you

I think you may find the restaurant will be closed on RH in September. Check with other owners. It has certainly closed in September the last 2 years.

Re: Weather Royal Heights October 17th for One Week

I have been out a few times at that time, only once out of 3 years was it still warm enough for swimming in sea. Pools were all closed down by then. (this is not Royal Heights but both the Bodrum area and Tuzla).

It also gets cold in evening once the sun goes down, not a big problem but just so as you are aware. Days were generally good but some spectacular rain on 2 occasions late in October. Few restaurants were open and not really warm enough to sit outside at night for eating.

Rain is to be expected and the pools are freezing, too cold to use.

Never Again at the End of October ,although day time temps are lovely.

Re: Weather Royal Heights October 17th for One Week

Hi

We were in Turkey 13th - 20th October 2012. The weather was beautiful clear blue skys everyday and temp around 29-32 degrees. We swam in the sea (did a boat trip) and swam in the swimming pools. The swimming pools at Lakeside Gardens in Tuzla were open - they usually close after the October UK half term (towards end of Oct). At night I needed a thin cardigan but husband was still in his t-shirt. We ate outside every evening. In previous years we have been there at the end of October and sometimes the weather has been cooler and changeable - maybe we were just lucky....Nina
