Re: Pegasus flights

WE have booked for Bodrum in May/June. Normally we like to use Pegasus from Man to Dalaman but flight times poor and very costly this year so it is Easy jet - Gatwick for us. We dont particularly like EJ as the seats leave us with back pain usually. So I have invested in a back support brace thingy and am running it in, so far it seems a goer.
This morning it appears that FLYBE is in trouble, they would have been our only flight option to Manchester had we gone Peg, may have dodged the bullet.

Re: Pegasus flights

We used liverpool on easyjet liking the early flights, from the IOM would require an overnight at the airport, about a 100m walk and very cheap compared with Manchester.

I always carry a memory foam cushion with me on flights. Some Easyjet planes are OK, others have awful curved backs to their seats.

Re: Pegasus flights

Just a quick update. I literally went through these airlines: Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, Easy Jet and Jet2 to find the cheapest flights to Bodrum in July and August. We live near Leeds but looked at Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, East Midlands and Leeds/Bradford. We finally went with Jet2 from Manchester ( initially not the cheapest however we are a Jet2 member and used a promo discount and received a substantial amount off). We have used Jet2 several times and are happy with their service and they are direct flights, which is a bonus.

Re: Pegasus flights

Have been using Pegasus for some years and from time to time they will do a weekend deal of 50% off. What I tend to do is buy the top ticket with right to cancel then if a deal does crop up later you can always cancel. Also check everyday that they don't do a direct flight as they may well do first flight of the day 2 or 3 times a week

Re: Pegasus flights

I have booked flights in the recent past with Pegasus on their special deals. 1 euro plus taxes and 11 euro plus taxes promotions. Both from Sabiha Gokcen to Manchester. They seem to be very proactive in winning business at the moment.

Re: Pegasus flights

This may be another option for some when they announce routes.
