Hi,
As i understand it, you have to have a residents permit for digiturk to be installed.
Failing that, do you hae a good Turkish friend who could arrange this for you.
I think the payment for the service is ia DD monthly from a Turkish Bank account.

Yeah you do have to have residency to get Digiturk but like Lolly said if you can get someone Turkish to put it their name you can get it all installed pretty quickly.

Hi
I have DigiTurk but it is in a Turkish persons name and I pay mine monthly at the local DigiTurk shop or in the bank. Obviously for Yabanci the rules will be differnt. The easiest way would be for some members resident in Turkey to post on how they pay or went about having it installed in an english name.

Try these guys- Get off the dolmus at the bottom of the hill, opposite the Oasis and go onto the Gumbet Main street, past the taxi stand. Gumbet is straight ahead but turn left towards Bodrum and 50 yards on the right is a little electronics store - Coskun Electronics. They'll help you, take someone Turkish if you don't speak the language. I found them very helpful and quick.

Oops I forgot to ask tjd if i go into Gumbet opposite Oasis. The little opening that brings you onto the main street that takes you down to Gumbet centre?

Hi, I have a few clients who have Digiturk and they are not residents, but they do own properties, they paid up front for the first 6 months, and gave credit card details for the following payments. I have never been asked for residency permits, only passports. Hope this helps. Ann

That's it exactly, past the veg shop and taxi stand then immediate left on the road to Bodrum that runs parallel to the highway.

Is that OK?
