Digiturk Movies

Hi all, Does anyone subscribe to Channels 201 and 202 (Salon 1 and Salon 2) on Digiturk? They seem to advertise more recent movies than I get on my Cinema Packet Digiturk subscription and I am wondering if anyone knows how much more you need to pay to upgrade the subscription and whether it is worth it? Thanks, Helen

There is a Salon channel and I think there is a 4 digit code comes up to watch one of these movies. The code is usually automatically set as 0000.

Yeah I think you are right Alison, but I think you have to cross their palm with silver first.

I will try and phone them - if I can speak with someone in English no problem. I signed for a year already but no discount - never mind, still GVFM. I watch CNBC quite a bit - for The Tudors and 24 for example.

I have never seen one. you can get their monthly mag. but that is in Turkish too, so unless someone knows more, I think the answer is 'you can't'.

We have just signed up for a year without a discount. Maybe if we had been monthly then the discount to sign up for a year is an incentive for the year or encourage you to have a more expensive package.

If you look at the bottom of your invoice it will show a number of points(puan) accredited to you. Some must be used before the year is ended and some are carried forward to next year.

If you go to the interactive channel 555, I think, you can use these points against films.

We have not tried it yet. Probably use it over Christmas when I am at home and getting in the way.

We get the magazine with our points although it doesn't come every month plus it's hardly looked it. Would probably be better using it towards watching a Salon film.

You can go onto the Digiturk website and using your customer number, log on and change your packages and decide how you want to use your points.
