Can we have Digiturk?
 My friend has an apartment behind Carefour and would like to have digiturk installed, they do not live in Altinkum or have a residents visa, so is it possible? also if they can have it can they pay once a year or do they have to pay monthly via direct debit at the bank? also where do they go to get it installed?

Yes I had no problem having digiturk installed Dish including fixing cost 100ytl in Aug 2007
Paid by credit card for the inital monthley fee's have taken a bill to the bank to set up direct debit.
You can speek to Digiturk by phone just press 9 and you get put to an English speaking person.
Very pleasent and helpful.

No problem as last person said - I just went in the morning to their agent in bodrum and came to install in the afternoon. Paid by credit card and didn't have Res Permit.
By the way you can get a HD box now with HD to record stuff. Looking into it but been told something like Sky Plus box in UK.

We have had digiturk for 3 years now,still showing most of the same programs but we have got it !!
Hi Sapper not sure if recording programs gets any better either but you never know !!

Hi Digiturk is great when your over there but unless your staying there its not woth it
it cost about 43ytl a month and to lower the payments in winter can be dificult. it took me 5 phone calls to cancell it and 2 months notice.

yes we have had didgiturk now 4 years . i pay about £6 a month. comes off my credit card monthly. not a lot of people realise that you can suspend payments for 2 months at a time ,quite handy if you are not there. you can also pay the whole year in cash at the shop if you want . if you miss a payment they cut you off untill you pay it then you are back on signal . something went wrong with my credit card payment once and i had not paid for 4 months so when i got there i simply walked in the shop paid the 4 months in cash and signal was back on .
