Corrie is probably the more accurate as they all still have cobbles over 'the border' even on the M62.
Eastenders is the more insulting because I can't see as those actually living in the east end of London could be so miserable, the one's I've met always came across as enjoying themselves.
Emmerdale is total bull.
Can you imagine a place that has about 8 houses, yet practically fills a cafe every day for most of the day, then the pub as well !
Can no one cook there ?
It's a bit like no-one having a washing machine in Eastenders.

All in all, Corrie wins it, on the storylines and dialogue.

I think it may be time to get a book out if this is what occupies our early evenings !

Bring back crossroads. yes it was sh**e but quality sh**e with strange accents, almost English.

Coronation Street any time.........I have to leave the room when the missus puts Eastbenders on...Too depressing all the time.
At least corrie injects a bit of northern humor into the story lines

We watch Coronation Street in our house all the time. Does David really push Gail down the stairs? can't wait to see that. I want to push her too, David was eventually happy, but now she is going to ruin that too, she is her own worst enemy. I used to like Michelle and Steve but now I'm sick of Michelle, story is dragging on and on. I love the funny bits, Rita and Norris, Eileen, Jack and Vera were great and why can't they have a great passonate romantic story. Look at any bookshop and you will see the variety of romantic novels that keep on selling. Sometimes I give up watching it and then go back again if someone tells me the storyline has picked up again. Have not been able to pick it up in Turkey so far. Do any of the pubs/restaurants in Turgutreis show it?

Emmerdale was very touching tonight with the babies funeral, I had a lump in my throat.
