Re: digiturk?
I believe I pay about £80 a year for the basic package. Unfortuanely you can't pause live TV so I have to get the kids to fetch me a beer from the fridge so I don't miss anything...
My subscription has just been renewed and I'll post the exact cost when my credit card bill arrives.

It is now about 9 pounds a month due to the exchange rate.
We are going to cancel it as as far as I am concerned it is a waste of money.
BBC prime is for people with dementia or serious alcohol/drug probs.
The repeats are never ending.

When I had digiturk, they had a channel, i think 26 or one of them, it showed all the M'boro games and the league cup.
As i said I;m on something completely different, I now get all the football live, including pre-season games all in English (have to put up with Peter Ried, Ray wilkins, andy T'wnsd etc), plus I get the cricket (sky broadcast), Rugby, motor racing etc etc
To be honest, during the summer you won't spend much time on watching TV anyway. The pool is far more rewarding lol.
p.s. from what I can remember, those who went for D'turk at the start still pay what they use to. You need to pop into their office or any satellite shop and ask for a digiturk brochure.

Re: digiturk?
i can see it would not be much good for someone who lived there ,but just for holiday visits i find the £9 option ok ,and as said you are mostly by the pool anyway. the music channels are very good as well . jazz /rock /blues / etc
