Channel 4 South West Turkey
A Sad Day for those who had Ch4 via satellite here in turkey, CH 4 is no longer available on a standard system as it has moved to astra 2d Yesterday afternoon. 5 M Dish is now required to receive this, and as for Ch4+ 1 and Ch4 HD not to sure how long we will have them for

Re: Channel 4 South West Turkey
don't we pick up itv etc from astra 2d. I thought it was just the fact that C4 had finished it's contract with sky and is no longer on their platform.

That's right ch4 has moved to 10.714Ghz horizontal on astra 2D we do not receive the horizontals here like cyprus the only one you can get is London ch4 on a min of 3mtr on 10.729 Ghz you would need to enter this in other channels therefore would not be in the sky epg unless you had a london FTV Card.
you can pickup some itv prog on 12.402 Ghz which is 2b north beam with a smaller than 3 mtr dish

Re: Channel 4 South West Turkey
I use BBC iplayer home here in the UK when I have missed a good programme which you can watch online programmes up to 7 days old or save them for 30 days.
Is it possible to use this service in Turkey? I read somewhere you need to be connected via a UK sevice provider, can you get round it?
