Hilary Member	BBC & ITV Reception in Altinkum. Hi every body I am new to this forum. We have a duplex appt in Altinkum and are coming out for a week on 11th of July. Can you please give us advice on recieving the stations via sky. We do not know if it is possible.Any info on dish size and reciever make would be a great help Thanks John & Hilary

adamd Member	To receive sky in Altinkum you will need a 3 meter wide dish £2000 a sky box from UK and a subscription from a uk address. Us the search link at the top. Adam

merlin Non Active Member	Better off with a dual dish setup for Hispasat and Hotbird. Not the same as Sky but the whole install can be had for around 400 lira. Merv!

jeanne Senior Member	We managed to watch the Tennis via digiturk - bbc interactive. I think it was on channel 392 and upwards.

I still don't know if the freeview works in Turkey, does anyone know the answer to this?

Sorry if this has been discussed, but while I was over in Akbuk 4 weeks ago I enquired about the possibillity of getting Sky Television in Turkey. I was told you can have it, but the size needed for the dish wasn't really practical for a domestic home. Turksat is the nearest to Sky. Mel and Anne. (Beachhhhhhh)

jane2005 Senior Member	Re: BBC & ITV Reception in Altinkum. Digiturk is very good, same set up as SKY, but maybe not practical if you are not there all year round as it's a monthly subscription.
