sky tv
anybody know the situation with sky tv? we bought a sattelite last time we were out there but it only had selected programmes bbc prime,eurosport& a lot of blue movies but we have been told if you take your sky box from the uk & keep paying the subscription it should still work, hope so otherwise i might go blind

depends on the size of your dish. You will need at least a 2 meter if not 2.5 meter dish to get any channels from astra.
Its not worth the hassle and risk to property damage to have a dish that size. Just get digiturk and its a lot cheaper then sky anyway.

OK 32 ytl not that there is any difference. Just that with living out here everybody still quotes prices in millions.
ask the bus driver the fare he says 1 million 100.
ask how much bread is they say 300 thousand.
YTL hasnt got into everyday language yet!
