English tv

Hi hope someone can help, just returned from gumusluk after getting the keys to our house.We have a tv, reciever and two sats on the roof loads of channels mainly turkish turksat and hotbird seem to be the channels, the only English channel i can find is BBC world do i need to go and subscribe to get more channels? If so does anyone know a place in turgetriess? All the kit was put in as part of a package from Arcelik washer etc, there is only so much bad news i can watch!!

There is a really good thread on here somewhere about digiturk - I think it was posted by Lorraine? Anyway, use the search facility and Im sure you will find it :-)

Digiturk is only really viable if you either live in turkey or visit it an awful lot. It's hardly worth paying a monthly subscription if you only visit a few weeks per year.

I get a few english channels ie: bbc world, eurosport, reality tv, plus some turkish ones that broadcast in english with turkish subtitles.
