Re: Curved screen tvs

Mine has 4K capabilities but at the moment I'm happy with HD rather than pay a premium to watch 4K.

Re: Curved screen tvs

I've got the Samsung 55 curved 4K UHD - absolutely stunning picture quality. Cost me a bit, but the detail in the picture is better than I have ever seen previously - well pleased with it.

We missed out on the 'free' surround sound addition that Samsung were packaging with this some time ago - but the TV sound is good on the TV itself.

When watching films, we drive the audio through an old Evesham surround, with double whoofer- which together provides a true crime a style experience.

I wouldn't break the bank for this kit, but if you can afford it, I don't think you could find anything better.

Re: Curved screen tvs

My mate spent thousand , a few years ago on 3d TV , he also spent literally hundreds on special electronic 3d spectacles.

What a waste , not much 3d broadcast now.

Wonder just how good curved tele's really are , let us know how you get on please Chris.

I think you said you were losing your memory? If you joined 10 years before me, that would indicate that you are older than me, Irish logic again...
