Re: child proofing digi box.
most have parental locks that you can maybe add to certain channels and can only be accessed using the correct pin number, must be on your menu or set up facility on remote

Re: child proofing digi box.
The way it works is to turn to the channel you want to block. Then go to the settings menu. On the setting menu there is a lock and you say yes to it. Ours asks for a password and on our model receiver the password is 1234 although the factory password for some recievers is 0000. After you say yes to the lock and enter the password move on to the next channel you want to block. It may be done differantly on some receivers though.

Re: child proofing digi box.
Hey Scoobydoo Where are you ?
Instead of locking the channel you will have the facility to skip the channel. This way if someone zaps through the channels it will miss out all the channels that you don't want them to see. If you lock the channel it will ask you for a pin number everytime you select it. It is very easy to do provided you have the correct pin number, usually set at 0000 in the factory.
Cheers
