Filmon on TV set

I have just bought a month's subscription to Filmon which I now watch on my laptop.

It occurred to me that I have a flat TV on my wall (furnished flat) which I don't use normally, but could I link the 2 together and watch Filmon on my TV or do I need some other hardware or software to do that ?

Thank you in advance for any advice or explanations as I really do not have a clue.

If you have HDMI socket on tv and laptop you can just connect together with a HDMI cable. You will need to find the correct port using the TV remote, but should be fairly simple. We do this every evening.

Am I looking for a physical socket on the TV?

Ah, I see I need a physical cable to do this. Which I don't have. So it will have to wait until after lockdown. If I have time to watch TV then.

Thank you muchly anyway.

Re: Filmon on TV set

You can probably buy one in Migros, but go for quality one. If there is a Teknosa near you you will defo get one there. Measure the length you will need before you go shopping, ours is about 1.5m long

https://www.teknosa.com/arama/?s=HDMI

Good luck

Re: Filmon on TV set

All non-essential shops are closed here (North Cyprus). Non-food aisles or sections are closed off in big supermarkets.

But thank you, I might do this next year. I just hoped there might be some Bluetooth way of doing it.
