Hi Saoirse
When we went into an electronics shop for some TV cable in September in Fethiye the man there was programming a box with a lot of English channels for a one off cost of about £35 but no idea how it worked. Is it like that box you can buy here for about £75 which gives you freeview channels for a one off payment?

Hi Lindy
So sorry but we went in so many electrical shops we have no idea?
If you go to the market junction and walk towards the mosque Eren spot is on the left about 50 yards and they were across the road on the right about another 20 yards or so because we bought the TV from Eren Spot and went across for some cable!!
We dont know much about all this but best of luck anyway.

Wouldn't bother if I was you. Many of the satellite channels have realised that this is going on and change their encryption codes on a regular basis - some several times a day. Your 'one off' cost can soon mount up as you have to get the box / card re-programmed over and over again. Lots of related threads on this subject on the Forum.
