Re: U.F.U.K. Hillside apartments' complex.

Hi akbukowl, when you say your completion date is overdue, have you a clause written into you're contract that says the builder must pay a monthly penalty to you? Ours' is down as 1500 euros' per month. I wonder if this is enforceable. Michael.

Re: U.F.U.K. Hillside apartments' complex.

I Passed the development yesterday and the first block had now been painted and I think it also had windows in (its quite far off the road so not 100% but 95). 3 others seem to be progressing well, It seems a very busy building site, there always seems 3 or 4 massive excavators working. You'lld need to be very active to walk into town of an evening as its probably almost one and half hours walk from the bottom of hillside (assuming they will be running shuttles down the hill)

Re: Touch of paridise - I walk through there quiet often and the builds themselves seem to be nearing completion (Kitchens were going in etc) but nothing seems to be happening on the ground work gardens.

Both will be lovely in their own way when finished Hillside for the views, TOP for the setting (peace).

take care

Marc

Hi, thanks for that Marc. It sounds like they're really going at it now. I think there will be around 354 apartments' on the complex when completed with a shuttle bus every 10 minutes'. Don't fancy walking for one and a half hours' each way for a night out though. Think it would be a taxi job. Hope every thing turns out well soon for you akbukowl and they push on and get your project finished. Good luck. Michael.

Hi Micheal & Carol
Our contract completion is Aug 2009, purchased from Parador got a letter from them today and our floor plans have been changed due to building regs, we gain extra space on the terrace, lose the ensuite, gain bigger bathroom & Bedrooms we have purchased duplex and our entrance is now on the ground floor, not on first, It is a better layout for us but not happy about ensuite however I will ask for a bath to be installed in the bigger bathroom.
hope exchange rate bucks up soon my payments were in 3. last year/this year/next year.

Looking at all the photos' of other builds' they all appear very nice indeed and of course most will have the beautiful views' that are there. Do you know if it is far to walk into Akbuk town and could you have a nice night out in the bars' and restaurants? Michael and Carol.

we have just come across this forum today. Me and my husband {Lesley and Wayne} have purchased an Artemis appartment through Parador. It was our first trip to Turkey last year, what a beautiful country. Just had a letter this morning saying there are changes because of building regs. Very much in our favour, so we can't grumble. The exchange rate brought tears to out eyes ha - but that news this morning made up for it.

I just wondered if anyone out there might have any up to date information. Does anyone know of, or live by the site who can give me a progress report? As far as I know the builder has started the first block but nothing more. I must say Akbuk looks great with fabulous views' and we can't wait to come and visit again. Any replies' appreciated. Thank you and best regards', Michael and Carol.

Hello Carol and Michael, we have also purchased on the Ufuk Hillside development. We put down deposit in late August last year. Ours is due to complete Aug 2009. Did you join the owners club with parador we decided not to thought not worth it. What other areas did you view before you chose this development and what did it for you or was it just that amazing vista?

Hi Germaine I am new to this forum came across it while searching Ufuk in google. So where have you bought in Akbuk not heard of the place of paradise development you were referring to. How often are you in Akbuk or are you based out there?

Re: U.F.U.K. Hillside apartments' complex.

Lesley and wayne, we are new to this forum and yes we have purchased at ufuk - we went for Leto block, 2nd floor. We also had that letter from parador in the main i feel yes the changes are for the better.

So had you researched the area prior to buying and was akbuk the main area you wanted or did you consider others?

I note it was your first turkey visit last year what made you go for turkey as a place to buy a property?

Look forward to hearing from you - Biz and Kam, Solihull
