U.F.U.K. Hillside apartments' complex.

Hello everyone, first post. Just wondered if any reader has purchased an apartment on the UFUK Hillside Complex in Akbuk. We purchased off plan in May, 2007 with the completion date forecast for May 2009. Since then we've read completion date is to be both August and December 2009. I just wondered if anyone out there might have any up to date information. Does anyone know of, or live by the site who can give me a progress report? As far as I know the builder has started the first block but nothing more. I must say Akbuk looks great with fabulous views' and we can't wait to come and visit again. Any replies' appreciated. Thank you and best regards', Michael and Carol.

Ufuk is the name of the builder's son.

They also own the Cement factory on the the Didim-Akbuk road

As Michael Caine would say 'Not a lot of people know that' :-)

Where did you get that information from Ron?

Hi everyone, and thanks' for the welcome Germaine. Where is your place Germaine and when will it be ready? Hello Ole, I am sure this is not a ufuking wind up. Imagine us telling our children the name. Hello and thank you also shirlyanntr for welcome to the site. Looks like we're gonna be another couple of Akbuggers'. I must say oofook sounds better. Robbo123 hi. We visited the cement factory as that is where the offices' are where we signed for our apartment. This is another Michael that didn't know that UFUK was the name of the builder's son. We thought the letters' stood for something. Er hello ronzeus, I hope that's the builder you're telling to ufuk off. Hello would have been enough as a welcome. Finally ceemac I think it is true what ron says as I've said that's where their offices' are. Nice to hear from you all,and thanks' for the replies' and as I've said already any information would be appreciated. If it's any help our complex is up from the island, and as high as you can go to the right of it. Kind regards', Michael and Carol.

Sorry Akbuk, I asked the question off Ron because nowhere in your post does it give the location of your site in relation to the proximity of the cement factory.

I was simply interested and it's not an important issue.

Sorry Michael and Carol - as everyone (including me) was fixated on the name, I actually forgot to answer your original question! I was in Akbuk last week and visited the Hillside Complex. Three of the blocks are now almost up and work seems to be progressing well. I have an interest in the site because I almost bought there but ended up getting a property at Yasmin Gardens - but you are right the views are stunning. I am out again in mid April and will take some photos and email them to you (unless you are out yourself soon).
