Can any one who uses/has used sites like ownersdirect or holidaylettings etc give their feed back on their success rate of advertsising your apartment/villa on these web pages?

We had great success with holidaylettings - don't rent now as we live here but we got plenty of rentals from them.

Ive had a bit of success with villarentals, but nothing to brag about.

Just started with Villarenters and have had 2 customers book for January which we weren't expecting. We have had a couple of bookings as well with Owners Direct.

I thinks Villarenters seems to reach a wider audience than Owners Direct - however if you want to rent your apartment seriously out I would do as many as possible - some do free advertising.

Anyone renting their place out should surely add a link to their website/page in their profiles here and any place the use on the net. And if you dont have a website/page - get one!

Yes good idea if you are thinking of renting as you could get some
members who are interested. I only rent my apartment to friends and family as I would like to know who's been sleeping in my bed. I have a free website that I use so anyone who is interested can have a look before they book.

And then add your link into anything you can For instance you can add a web url to any emails you send out, even complaints. You never know who is going to see it.
