Re: website review please
John
You only need to post once. I don't understand why you want feedback on a site that is designed by a company? If it was your own design I would understand.

Re: website review please
But the design is by a company so that is advertising the company name.

Maverick57uk,
Just looked at your website, not bad, but not sure why you want comments on it now, when the contents were done in 2004, it states your site is maintained by "Priceless-pcs.co.uk" this company is owned and registered by your best friend Chris Price even though it states in his registration that he is "non trading," he has built and maintains several websites, also does "Custom Built Computers"
So I think Martyn is right on saying a bit of Free Advertising is going on.
Oh and by the way tell him his website is slow and some parts of it not working, comes up "Temporarily Unavailable"

Re: website review please
I think you're going to struggle to attract a lot of bookings from your site. Really, using joomla for a simple apartment rental site is like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, it is meant to be used as a portal and a simpler site on a brighter coloured template with more pictures would be more attractive.
The large number of links are pointless, they are especially pointless as they include hotels when you are advertising a rental! Your keywords are sparse and don't relate enough to your text and include totally random phrases like "for sale" and "estate agent" which have no bearing on what you are trying to do and will not bring you traffic, even by accident.
If you seriously want to attract visitors to your site and your apartment then the site itself is only half of it, you have to advertise it and not just by posting it on forums. You need to build a marketing plan, allocate a budget however small and give yourself a mix of web and normal advertising. You need to go to the popular rental sites and get yourself included which normally means paying. Your marketing strategy is key or your website, no matter how nice it is, will never get up the rankings in what is a very crowded sector.

Re: website review please
Your site looks great, as long as you tell people about it, they are not going to find it on a web search. I agree with Karyn in some points, 1. In your key words you do'nt mention that it is a property rental site. Also you should check the html script with a validation programme such as WC3 validataion, its free and as they are the ones that set the standard for website code.
I did yours, first you state that you have XHMTL 1.0 transistional, not correct and on your front page you have 135 errors alone, this could be caused mainly by declaring the wrong XHMTL correct this and you may find all the errors will go. But whilst you have all these errors Google is going to give it a wide berth.
It is maybe OK to use ready made sites as you may think they are easy, as the tech stuff has been done, but you still must check the coding with a validation check for errors.
Link: http://validator.w3.org/ Just enter your website address and it does the rest.

Re: website review please
On top of the above I would add
Loose the right hand column and make the main part wider, weather could fit in the left hand column. News feed is pointless for this site and the picture slideshow could be merged into the text, search on a site like this again is pointless. Whos online I think is also not needed but could fit in the left hand column if you wanted it.
Header of the site, I think this could be an excellent place for a view of Hisaronu or Oludeniz or even a nice pool shot and would link better to what the site is about.
Name, dienn.com doesn't really help with search enginees. Try and find a domain name with some keywords in OludenizVilla.com for example. Also the title of the site would be better to have keywords in 'Apartment for rent in Hisaronu, Turkey'. Also throw some more keywords into your Description tag say '2 Bedroomed Apartment for rent in Hisaronu, Turkey. Close to the beautiful beach at Oludeniz '.
I would try and cut down the number of menu options, price, availability, booking form, contact us could all come under a well laid out booking option.
Also I would consider making the font size a couple of points larger for older visitors or those with poor eye sight.

Re: website review please
As I said in your other thread, it's not bad for a first try but you've got several spelling and grammatical errors which you need to sort out in order to make it look more professional.
