Thumbs up Off to White Rock

Im counting down the days until the family are off to White Rock for two weeks. I know it will be too cold for the swimming pool but hopefully the restaurant will be open and it will be exciting too see whats happening in the garden. We will be going to Bodrum to have a look around the different areas. First visit this year, October seems so far away since we were out last time. Read about lots of restaurants in the Dalaman area that we are going to try. Got the flights sorted for summer already (six weeks). Turkey here we come.

Question Re: Delivery advice wanted

Hi guys
We are new owners at Lakeside, - Graham & Irene + we have 4 children age 16 - 23yrs. Can anyone help with some advice about sending personal items (linen, books etc) cheaply by post? We have 2 x boxes packed and ready to go which weigh total of 35kg. The various couriers seem to have endless rules and so far we have not found anyone suitable. Has anyone sent such items successfully??

Hi Graham and Irene,

We considered your suggestion of posting items but in the end it was/is easier just to take bits out each time you go, by booking extra luggage AS you book your tickets - cheaper that way.

However, if you are moving out there permanently then I guess you want as much as possible as soon as possilbe, and posting is better. I am certain someone with knowledge of that will come along to answer shortly.....

All the best.

We have always taken things with us as we go, both in suitcases and hand luggage. Only had to pay excess once which was about £20. Just be clever with your packing.
