we have 3 red squirrels come to drink from our pool quite often, that is until Jlo our dog spots them, then it's every squirrel for himself as they run for cover. She doesn't stand a chance as she can never make up her mind which one to chase.

Just a bit of information the red squirrels here in Turkey aren't the same as those in the UK.

The ones here are the caucasian (or persian) squirrel Sciurus anomalus and not the eurasian (or eurasian red) squirrel Sciurus vulgaris found in the UK and other parts of europe.

I've seen quite a few in and around Sogut but I've never managed
to get the camera out of the case before they've disappeared
