Re: The Sky At Night

Well 8/10 you must try harder next time Bob.

Seriously, the most beautiful natural event of all for me is the Sunrise and Sunsets, always marvel at them no matter where in the world I am. Thank You for taking the time to show us these natural wonders of our world out there. I have camera at the ready for Harry Hedgehog but keep missing him, now I know they're very common creatures, but just wanted to show how fat he is, lol. He has really been stoking up on goodies from us, ready for his hibernation.

Re: The Sky At Night

Yes very nice Bob, but if you would like to see really nice sky, you have to go further north, like Norway. Dosent matter summer or winter it is like beautiful, but winter we have the Northen Light, and thats something special, we see it quite ofen.
When you have full size moon it is very small, if you come here, the full size is so big, you would not belive it, it seems you can touch him.

Yes Ase, it is the most beautiful clear skies when we were in Norway too, the Moon seemed so low to us with millions of stars, unspoilt beauty. Our place in Turkey, we also have this beautiful night sky as we are waaaayyy up in the mountain, spectacular, and looking forward to seeing it again soon. xx

Re: The Sky At Night

It was a lovely sunset this evening Bob, we were traveling back from Kalchevo and were admiring it, but for me, nothing will ever beat the sunset over Akbuk bay, I thought it was stunning.

l do think where ever one goes in the world. There is beauty to behold.
Like summertime suggested. The skies are stunning further north you go.How l would love to see a photo[if you can summertime]of the Norwegian evening sky.
"But",throughout the world there are always the beauty on the evening sky ceiling from the sparkling chandeliers hanging on nothing amongst the darkness above.A beauty within itself to be admired
