Re: Common Buzzard

Nicely captured. What dSLR/lens did you use out of interest?

Re: Common Buzzard

Just bought a Nikon D5100 and used my existing 70-300mm lens. Still getting used to the menu settings as it is a little different to the d40x I used to have.

The buzzard was about 150metres away.

Re: Common Buzzard

Thanks, nice choice. I have the D5000, the D5100 seems to have a much better ISO range. That's the lens I want to buy for Motor sport and to capture any wild life shots for some reason it seems to be going up in price.

Keep the shots coming am sure you will learn new tricks as you discover your new camera, thanks for sharing.

Re: Common Buzzard

From what I have read the d5100 is a big step up as it shares the same image processor as the D7000.

Someone on the Talkphotography.com forum is selling a 55-300 vr lens for 200 plus the Delivery. You need to be a member for 60 days though to see the advert.
