Worm preservation society

I have read this morning courtesy of Beyazaban of the above on another thread.
I too am deeply concerned about the vile practice of eating worms so I would like to join your society. To such an extent I am prepared to offer my home as a venue for a fund raising supper. Black Tie of course in order to attract the great and the good. In fact, I'm sure with a word in the right ear my MP William Hague would attend. I happen to know he also shares your concerns and let's face it he hasn't got much to do at the moment.
We could also have an Auction of promises so I would ask all the kind TLF members to possibly donate something? I think a week in a Turkish villa would be a nice idea but any other offers?
A little concerned as to what to put on the menu. Does your Society have any strict regulations as to what it's members can eat? So ideas on that please.
With some effort I'm sure we could pull off a great evening.

If you cut a glow-worm's tail off, would it be delighted?

Re: Worm preservation society

If the men you invite are only wearing a black tie but at least there will be plenty of worms present. With regard to pulling it off, that might have to be another venue!

I have taken note of your 'special request' and I think it's best discussed at their next committee meeting. Thanks for your interest.

There is a lot of help available these days for the delicate matter I think you are referring to.
There are extensions available for worms now in a variety of hues and textures I believe.

Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,"

I really hate going to my mother in laws for Sunday dinner!
