Well Women Clinic

Hi Guys,

Didim Belediye have given us their support in raising money for a mobile well womans clinic to service the Didim area. We are also investigating the possibility of running blood drives from it.

Our first fundraiser for this is the "Open Day" on 1st of November at the Wedding Salon in Yenishar from 11am. If you are in the area, it would be lovely to see you :-) Also if you have any jumble or bric a bac or anything at all that you would like to donate, please let me know.

Re: Well Women Clinic

That's a great idea and well done for trying to get this sort of project off the ground, don't envy you dealing with all the red tape

Good luck on the fund-raiser

Maybe you could raise some money from sponsorships, I'll be happy to do something like that on behalf of TurkishLiving

Re: Well Women Clinic

thats fantastic Kym..
and theres a real need for this sort of thing...prevention is always better than cure and you will be able to reach those in need the most.
Well done..you are certainly getting things off the ground over there.

Re: Well Women Clinic

Well done Kym, I agree with Shirley prevention is always better than cure and it is good these places are available for everyone, I was diagnoised with breast cancer at the tender age of 29, but it was caught in time and now I am 40 and well.

I think its important that there is somewhere you can go if you are a bit worried, so you can get immediate treatment or just to put your mind at rest.
