Kusadasi First WIT Meeting

Lo folks,

Delighted to announce that the first Kusadasi WIT meeting is set for 24th November at 4pm in Dejezaars:-)

They will recieve full support from us here in Didim and will benefit from all of the existing associations, contacts, discounts, webspace, advertising and services (distance permitting) that WIT have obtained over the past year, as well as growing their own!

A note from Alison and Michelle who will be running the Kusadasi side of things:

"We are hoping that WIT-Kusadasi will become as large and as well supported as our friends in Didim, where the Group originated.
Unlike Didim, Kusadasi is spread over a vast area, incorporating the towns of Davutlar and Guzelcamli, so there may be women out there who feel isolated especially during the winter months and could use a friendly support group like WIT. After settling in not only a new town, but a whole new country, after the excitement fades it can become quite daunting. Things we've taken for granted back were we came from aren't as readily accessible. There's also a language barrier, so WIT hopes to provide information and access to all of these things. Alison and Michelle are inviting all ladies in the Kusadasi area, from all nationalities to come forward and join the group."

A few of us committee members from Didim will be attending on Monday, would be great to see you there :-) x

I would like to wish you all the very best of luck in setting up the NEW branch of WIT.I know from first hand that it is a very worthwhile organisation and that the people involved work very hard to make it all work.
I can see this spreading all over the country eventually which will be a good thing.

Well we had a great trip to Kusadasi yesterday :-)

Getting it off to a good start by getting control of the car and the cd player! We had a lovely girly drive and singalong.

Arriving 20 mins late, we were giving scrummy coffees and set about meeting the lovely ladies of Kusadasi. Both Michelle and Alison were at the first ever WIT meet and have been keeping abreast of things ever since so it made our job easy.

Kusadasi is now included on our main website so for anything relating to WIT Kusadasi you can find it under "regional" at the top of the WIT Homepage. Details of the meetings, announcements, events etc.. can all be found there and will also be included in our regular updates to the press and forums.

Well done to Michelle and Alison for getting the ball rolling - WIT Woooooo Kusadasi ;-)

Thanks to Kym and the rest of the ladies for making the trip up to our first WIT meeting. Hopefully we can do as much for women as they have over the past year.
