How do you go about getting a post office box in Yalikavak? Paperwork?
In the meantime how do you check if you have any post sitting in their office/

getting a post box ..post kutusu..is straightforward...and they get snapped up quickly.
there isnt much form filling..they just need to see your identity and your address...and you pay for a year...i renew mine every January..i paid 5 lira last month.....if i remember right i paid around 50 lira to get it set up. İf theres a parcel waiting they put a little slip in your box and you pick it up in the office....well thats how it works in Alanya.
if you think there may be post waiting for you (Poste restante) ....then you would have to go to the relevant office and check.

They are very friendly at the post office. It is the office under the mosque and we just pop in and ask if there is anything for us.
