golf course in Ortakent
Has anyone played golf in Ortakent, as I can't find the course. The turkish locals say its open but we were told it wasn't far from Kippa (supermarket) on the Yalakavak road but we have tried all the left turns and can't find it

Hi K&J.
The golf club is sign posted just as you enter Ortakent on the left by the taxi's, thats coming from Turgutreis, i wouldnt bother though, my friends went to play its 30 ytl per person, trouble is its only 5 holes, they played 4 times thinking it was only 30ytl & got stung at the end for 120ytl each, they queried it with the owner as it is not explained properly but he wouldnt back down so they wont be going back.

Thank Steve/sue. I'll try and find it when I come out in april although it sound to be a poor setup. I was told that the course was going to be extended, but I surpose it will be in turkey time for that to take place.

There is now a greenish coloured 'cardboard cutout' golfer opposite the turning, pointing you in the right direction.
