Back in South London for just over a week now after my visit to Yalikavak and just a quick "thanks" to the people I met particularly Gill for being so helpfull.The evening at Musti's was particularly busy and did not get to meet as many people as I would have liked,thanks Brenda for a great evening and "Bol sanslar" with your new premises.Thanks Lynne for the quick visit re -damp probs. I am on the developers case to try and get him to see to the problems...we will see? Nice to meet "LuckyCat" good luck through the season and will pop in when next over.Hi "Ringspanner" hope all goes well at "Bluewater Bay".Hi to Owena and Sallylamb.We had a lovely evening with Brian and Glenda at the "Anchor" and "Sandima" bars.I don't think they are members of the forum
but they seem to know everyone in Yalikavak having lived there for over ten years and have certainly seen some changes.The new "Bowling Alley" and "Cinema" should add a new dimension to Yalikavak but not sure if the village/town needs a new shopping mall??The roads were in a pretty rough condition particularly up around the Geris area.
Continued to meet more great people, "Zeki" at a Kebap house,"Ahmet" at the "Paprika" restaurant...............oh! and a speciai mention for Ercument my "Main Man"...... missing being there allready...I'll have to be patient until I can go again..........thinking of Yalikavak and all you lovely people.... Gurusuruz!!!
