Hi all I’ve just been out to Yalikavak to our apartment new apartment at Carpe Diem and require some content insurance and earthquake insurance. Has anybody got some good advice as to what company’s to use and what sort of price we should expect to pay.

UK based Intasure are able to offer building, contents and now DASK. Rate wholly depends on your property and contents value......you can get a quote online off the Intasure web site or just call and speak to one of the operators.

hello - we also have a place on carpe diem , for about a year and a half and when we got our tapu we went to some insurance firm in yalikavak and got a good deal on it, you can email them and ask for a quote - they send the docs through in english which is helpful as I dont read any Turkish - hope this helps - any questions and for their details email me (see my profile for email address)I have a few email addresses of owners at carpe diem and can include you in our emails if you like.

We booked through Intasure as well. I know there have been a couple of successful claims through them on the forum so they seem ok.
